Purpose: Use the Y-DNA and mtDNA results from your linked yfull.com sample to place you on the YFull reference tree and generate your individual ancestry report.
Legal basis: Article 9(2)(a) — explicit consent for special-category data.
Processing scope: Y-DNA and mtDNA markers read from your linked yfull.com sample, your derived haplogroup placement, narrative report content.
Sub-processors: Scaleway DC2 Vitry-sur-Seine, Val-de-Marne (storage, EU).
Retention: For your linked yfull.com sample, we keep your Y-DNA and mtDNA haplogroup placement — not your raw markers — and re-read your yfull.com data to keep your placement current as the reference tree is updated. You can delete your placement and report at any time on request.

Important: Withdrawing this consent closes your account, because we can't deliver the service without processing your DNA. Your €15 placement fee is non-refundable per the refund policy.

Processing scope: Aggregated, de-identified haplogroup distributions and narrative-feedback patterns. Never raw variant data or your personal report content.
Retention: Aggregate research dataset retained indefinitely; the underlying identifiable data is not used for training.
